ArtsWest Annual Gala 'most successful'

ArtsWest Playhouse's eighth annual gala "The Beat Goes On" was the most successful ever in the organization's history, raising $152,000 for arts and education programs.

"The fantastic success of this special event shows just how many hundreds of Seattleites care about ArtsWest," said Alan Harrison, ArtsWest executive director. "It just goes to show that when you produce good work and serve the members of your community, people will flock from far and wide to join you."

ArtsWest Development Director Jennessa Richert said, "We really have to thank the community for coming out to support such a fun event and 'thank you' also to the local and national businesses who supplied ArtsWest with so many incredible auction items."
