Jack Burke, local resident and retired pilot signed his book A LIFE ALOFT for visitors to Burien Books Friday night. For more than two hours Jack regaled the large crowd with tales of his life in the military and later as a round the world pilot for Pan American Airlines.

The book is available in limited quantities for $24.95 at Burien Books. Officially the book will be released next month.
