19-year-old woman shot and killed in Tukwila
Police looking for leads in shooting at S. 116th St. and Tukwila International Boulevard intersection
From the Tukwila Police Department:
At about 9:15 P.M. on Feb. 2, Seattle Police contacted a shooting victim being driven to Harborview by a friend. The 19 year-old woman was in very serious condition and taken to Harborview for treatment where she later died from her injuries.
Her friend, who was driving at the time of the attack, said they were in an SUV on Tukwila International Blvd. The victim was the only passenger in the vehicle. Tukwila Police searched the area and found shell casings at S. 116 St. & Tukwila International Blvd. That intersection was closed and officers & detectives processed the scene for evidence.
Detectives are talking to witnesses and are trying to develop details about the attack.
