April 5 Update:
Press release:

I am sorry to have to announce that due to security concerns tomorrow's fundraiser event, for shooting victim Nick Lindsay, @ Zenith Park in Des Moines has been cancelled.

Press release:

To whom it may concern,

I am sure you have already heard about the shooting that took place this last Sunday (Easter morning) at the Sports Page in Auburn Washington. A terrible tragedy that took the lives of three young men from our community.

In honor of one of the deceased Nicholas Lindsay we will be conducting a fund raiser event, "Fit For Nick", this Saturday April 6th 2013 at Zenith Park in Des Moines Washington. Nick was a father of two young sons, small business owner, and highly respected personal trainer who lived and worked in Des Moines WA. In order for this event to achieve maximum success we are in need of your assistance.

I am writing to request that you please assist us in spreading the word about this event using any of the various channels at your disposal. I understand this is very short notice with the event being only 2 days out, but as Nicks mother is facing funeral expenses and the additional cost of caring for Nicks surviving children we cannot afford to postpone this event any longer.

We need your help in spreading the word! Please forward this message, provide coverage, and help us notify the community about this Saturdays event at Zenith Park. Help us make "Fit For Nick" a great success.

"Fit for Nick" will be a boot camp style fitness event taught by friends and colleagues of Nick Lindsay. From 10am till 2pm professional personal trainers with the help of some U.S. Marines will be teaching people of all ages and physical ability the benefits of proper diet and exercise, training will be done through demonstration and participation. RAIN OR SHINE!

We will also be conducting a bake sale on site for those who may want to participate with out the physical training. The event is free to attend, all though donations are encouraged because 100% of the proceeds will be given directly to Nicks family in order to assist with funeral costs and to support his 2 surviving young sons.
