Once at the championship game, the Lancers settled for the No. 2 seed into Friday and Saturday's West Central District tournament with the lopsided loss to the Hornets.
The West Central District tournament will take place at the Sprinker Recreation Center in Spanaway.

The Rams lost to Bethel and Graham-Kapowsin as the 4A South Puget Sound League tournament opened at the Kent Service Fields on Thursday, but stayed alive to play for the ninth and final berth into the West Central District tournament on Friday.

The Rams outgunned Central Kitsap in West Central District 4A tournament action Thursday and they advance to play Rogers for the district's fifth and final state berth at 10 a.m. Saturday at Art Crate Stadium (Bethel High School).

Kennedy Catholic continued its stay in the West Central District 3A tournament with Thursday's victory over the Rams at Franklin Pierce High School in Parkland.
The Lancers advance to play again at 4 p.m. Saturday against Columbia River at Highline Memorial Stadium.
