Gas station robbery
The Shell station located at 17010 International was robbed around 2 a.m. on Sun., Dec. 18. The suspect attempted to shoplift alcohol from the convenience store and assaulted the store clerk, who tried to stop the theft. Others were waiting for the suspect outside and one of them had a knife.

Father abuse
A 16-year old residing on the 1400 block of S.W. 162 Street struck out at his father at 2 p.m. on Sat., Dec. 17. The teen hit his father in the face after a verbal argument. The father did not want his son to go to jail and was unwilling to assist in a prosecution. Officers released the son back to his parents.

It’s raining burglars
Suspects smashed the skylight on the roof of the Point Bar, located at 435 S.W. 152nd St., allowing burglars to enter from above. The chef at the restaurant came to work at 6:50 a.m. on Thurs., Dec. 15 and discovered the crime scene.

Business burglarized
Aussie Machine Inc., a machine shop located on the 12400 block of Des Moines, was burglarized sometime between 4 p.m. on Wed., Dec. 14 and 5 a.m. on Thurs., Dec. 15. The suspect kicked in the front door and took a few small items.

Assault on board
Unknown suspects threatened a Metro Bus driver with a pointed gun around 4 p.m. on Thurs., Dec. 15 near the intersection of S. 146th Street and 8th Avenue S.

Lover’s spat
A man went to his ex-girlfriend’s house, located on the 130 block of S.W. 116th Street, around 2 a.m. on Mon., Dec. 12. He wanted to convince her to get back together with him, but instead the two ended up in a physical altercation. He grabbed her by the throat, covered her mouth and chocked her.

Salon Robbery
A man robbed Koko Look, 14917 Ambaum Blvd., of $300 cash around 6 p.m. on Mon., Dec. 12. He used a semi-automatic pistol to threaten the shop employees.

Fight in hotel room
Two subjects got in a fight around 8 p.m. on Mon., Dec. 12 in their room at the Ramada Inn, 16720 International. One individual locked the other out, as that person left through a window. On the way out, the suspect took the cell phone of the victim. The victim refused to press charges.
