Remodeling to close library in Des Moines

Wednesday, December 05, 2007

The Des Moines Library will close for renovation on Tuesday, Dec. 11.

According to the King County Library System, it will be closed until mid-January "to ensure the safety and comfort of our patrons while the renovation to the building is in progress."

Des Moines Library patrons are encouraged to use other libraries in the King County Library System during the closure to drop off books, access Wi-Fi and attend programs.

Any items remaining on the Des Moines Library's hold shelves, including holds transferred from Woodmont Library, will be transferred to the Kent Regional Library on December 11.
