" I would like to send my deepest condolances to Dr. Clausings family. You have lost a very special husband and father.
Doc, as my Dad called him was a very good friend of my Dads. He took great care of our family, there has never been another DOC like him.

" Dr. Clausing was our family physician since 1949. He attended the birth of my sister, Colleen in 1956, and was with my mother, Betty May Foreman-Wright when she died at the Standring Mem Hospital from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Dr. Clausing also took care of my father, Wayne C Wright while he was suffering from Alzeheimer's.

Dr. Clausing was also a hunting partner with members of my family including myself. He hunted Elk with us in the Nile area near Yakima for several years as well as hunting deer in the Loomis, Washington area.

He had a fantastic sense of humor. He was also a feisty person who stood up for his principles. He had major run-in's with the politico of the AMA; and they were relentless in trying to ruin him. He was a major contributor to forcing the AMA and Washington Medical Board to recognize Osteopaths as the same level of proficiency as MD's. The AMA and Washington association never forgave him for that, and did all possible to destroy his career - which they eventually succeeded.

I am so sorry to hear of his death. I hope and pray that Cleo retained her strength and recognized what a very special man Dr. Clausing was. "
