Calling all ghouls, goblins, princesses and superhero’s! Alki Community Center is having a Halloween Carnival on Friday, Oct. 25th from 6-8pm for all ages. Tickets are $.25 per game or $7 for an unlimited bracelet. There will also be a scream room for ages 10 & up. Touch and feel what your brains and heart feel like outside of your body.

Duwamish Alive! Restoration work party – October 19

Planting season is coming! Join hundreds of your neighbors on October 19th and kick off the planting season with Nature Consortium. This special service event is part of Duwamish Alive, a city-wide event to celebrate and restore the polluted Duwamish River. West Duwamish Greenbelt plays a critical role in filtering the air and water pollution created by urban runoff and industrial waste. Help us plant native trees and shrubs in the greenbelt and provide more pollution-fighting power!
