AVIATION HIGH SCHOOL JUNIORS ARE ELIGIBLE FOR RUNNING START! For those who may not have heard, Aviation High School has recently had a policy change that now permits juniors to participate in the Running Start Program. In the past, AHS has limited participation to just seniors, whereas all other high schools in the Highline School District have been offering it to both junior and seniors. If you have a son or daughter that will be a junior next year at AHS (or for that matter any high school in the district), it’s not too late to sign your child up for Running Start. With school having let out for the summer, I recommend you contact Max Silverman, who is the Director of High School programs for the district. He has been very involved with this policy change and I’m sure will be happy to answer any of your questions, as he’s done for me, and can help facilitate the paperwork (one single sided form…painless). Max’s email address is… silvermax@hsd401.org or he can be reached at 206-433-0111. For those of you who may not have heard of the Running Start Program, it is an opportunity for your child to earn college credits free of charge while also satisfying high school graduation requirements. It’s a great way to shave off college credits for free. For more information on the Running Start Program, click on the links below. Our dog snuck out when our daughter opened the door early yesterday afternoon. She hasn't been back since! She looks like a dingo with her huge ears. My husband is really upset. He is such a sap for dogs and will be heartbroken if we don't get her back. If you have seen her please resond via email or give us a call... 206-422-8548.

I'm looking for my lost dog. He looks like a small brown chihuahua look a like with elf like ears (about the size of a small purse). Here's a picture of my dog. (copy n paste link) http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b74/ethereal_illusions/Kenshin.jpg (end of link) We think someone may have stolen it while he was outside playing/wandering at November 29, 2007 at approximately 4 pm. If you hear of anyone that JUST ACQUIRED/GOT a NEW BROWN PUPPY that looks fits this description then it probably belongs me and my little sister so please contact me at (206)446-6902 or (206)501-0110 a cash reward will be given to the ones who bring us back our puppy. He loves to scratch and bite with his EXTREMELY SHARP TEETH so he's not good with children at all unless you like your kids with scratch marks and punctured skin. His name is Kenshin/Kinchi, we love him as a child and having lost him feels like we've lost a child to abduction. So please help us find out kid(dog) back.
